Volunteer Fire Fighter

Serves as a volunteer member of the Thomas County Emergency Department. Protects lives and property through activities associated with fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services and hazardous materials, incident response, and participates in the training, prepardness and maintenance activities necessary to achieve that end. This position in continually accepting applications.



Thomas County-Thomasville Recreation Advisory Board

The Thomas County Board of Commissioners is seeking citizen applicants to serve on Thomas County-Thomasville Recreation Advisory Board. Members shall be Thomas County residents and support recreational programs for the citizens of Thomas County and Thomasville. Meetings are held monthly, at Noon at the YMCA. JV/Criminal Deputy Clerk

Full time postion with the Clerk of Courts Office. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is a part-time position protects lives and property through activities associated with fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services and hazardous materials incident response, and participates in the training, preparedness and maintenance activities necessary to achieve that end. EMT-Paramedic

Communication Officer Trainee (E911)

Serves the county in the Thomas County E911 Department. This fulltime position will perform specialized radio and communications work as a radio dispatcher on an assigned shift. Work involves answering emergency and non-emergency telephone lines for the purpose of collecting data in order to dispatch police, fire and medical unitas as they relete to officer and/or public safety. Must be 18 years of age. Be able to type 40 wpm with 97 accuracy and, must be willing to work 12 hour shifts....
