Serves as a member of the Thomas County Emergency Services Department. This is a full-time position that enables candidates with no current training the opportunity to work while being certified and educated as a Fire Fighter 1 and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Upon completion, this position will require activities that are associated with fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical operations with patient care. Applications will be submitted to the County Commissioners office from May 1, 2025 through June 13, 2025. Recruits selected will begin employment on August 12, 2025.
