Communication Officer Trainee

Serves the county in the Thomas County E911 Department. This Fulltime position will perform specialized radio and communications work as a radio dispatcher on an assigned shift. Work involves answering emergency and non-emergency telphone lines for the purpose of collecting data in order to dispatch police, fire, and medical units as they relate to officer and /or public safety. Must be 18 years of age. Be able to type 40 wpm with 97 accuracy and. must be willing to work 12 hour shifts.
