Public Safety

The dedicated employees of the various Public Safety Agencies in Thomas County are committed to protecting the safety and security of all who live and work in our county or come here to visit.

Public Safety personnel are responsible for keeping our residents safe from emergencies and both man-made and natural disasters. Departments include the Sheriff's Office, the Fire Department, the ambulance service, the Emergency Management Agency and the 911 Communications center.
