Thomas County Prepares for upcoming predicted weather by having weather briefings with the National Weather Station.

Public Service:

In preparation for the upcoming storm events this weekend, Thomas County will be providing sand bags and sand to those who may need them for minor flooding issues. They will be available at the Sunset Fire Station, 244 County Farm Road, Thomasville. Citizens will be required to fill their own bags and there is a limit of 5 bags per household.

Friday, May 25th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 26th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
