PURCHASE TAGS EARLY
Tax Commissioner Alicia Hester states the Georgia Department of Revenue will be replacing the computer software that processes motor vehicle tags and titles. On Friday, May 24, 2019 The Thomas County Tax Commissioner’s Office will not be able to process any tag and title requests. The property tax service will be open and operational. Monday May 27 is Memorial Day and County Administration Offices will be closed. She encourges the public needing tags purchased in May to come in as early as possible.
