Emergency Services Lieutenant-Medical

Under general supervision, serves an assistant shift supervisor, performing skilled and technical work directing emergency medical service operations for the county. Work involves assisting the direction of all emergency medical service-related activities for advanced life support and basic life support personnel in the Emergency Services Department for all substances for a twenty-four hour period. Assists in supervision of department employees which involves such duties as instructing, assigning and reviewing work, maintaining standards, acting on employee problems, selecting new employee, appraising employee performance. Employee is responsible for performing in accordance with established emergency medical procedures and techniques. Reports to shift Captain. “click here for more information”
