Fire & Emergency Services

The Thomas County Fire Department serves the community by responding to fire alarms, fires, vehicle accidents and assisting EMS with medical calls. We have a free Smoke detector installation program and we are always training to better serve you as the community. Our department consists of full time, part time, and volunteer firefighters. Volunteers are always wanted.

Mission

To provide efficient and professional response to emergency and or disasters that may occur. This will be accomplished through education, prevention, fire suppression, first responder service, and various other functions.
