The Thomas County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has six (6) investigators and one (1) administrative assistant. CID investigates crimes reported to the Sheriff's Office and assists the municipalities of Thomas County. CID also acts as a liaison to surrounding local, State and Federal Agencies.

The Criminal Investigations Division also maintains the Thomas County Sex Offender Registry.
