Upcoming Tire Amnesty Days

Thomas County Solid Waste, Thomas County Code Enforcement, City of Thomasville Solid waste and Keep Thomas County Beautiful will again join forces in a team effort to keep our community safe and beautiful.

To prevent the spread of diseases, protect the public health, and improve our environment, citizens are encouraged to bring their unwanted tires to one of the collection sites, during our Tire Amnesty Event. This is “FREE” to all residents of Thomasville, unincorporated Thomas County and its municipalities.

Just one tire improperly stored in your yard, can become a breeding ground for thousands of diseased mosquitoes.

3,588 tires were collected during our Tire Amnesty Events in 2021, which was around 50 tons. Tire Amnesty has made a huge difference for our community. We ask that you do your part in keeping our community safe.

Dates of the event:

Friday April 8th, Saturday April 9th, and Sunday April 10th.

Guidelines for the event:

Those participating will be required to unload your own tires.
